This new surface mount sample has part of a dime included to give those
individuals not familiar with surface mount technology a sense of
the scale involved.
In surface mount rework, one of the harder tasks is lifting a fine course
lead and attaching a jumper wire to it. This is sometimes required in ECO rework.
Here is an example.
Another task lifting a component and attaching a jumper wire to the lifted end.
Finally soldering a jumper wire to a pad parallel to the component lead.
